- DreamCenter – Lane County
Operated out of City of Destiny Church under the umbrella of MetroNet Ministries, this “Free Store” is a truly unique innovation inside of Lane County. Rather than charge for donated items, DreamCenter – Lane County gives away the merchandise in exchange for time volunteered in the DreamCenter.
In practice, someone who needs items from the DreamCenter goes in and donates an hour or two of their time working in the DreamCenter. Upon completion of their time, they receive vouchers redeemable for items in the DreamCenter. In this way, the DreamCenter is continually being organized and shelves are restocked, as well as needed items being distributed to those in need.
